These would be my 3 to look into. In that order. Belong is actually amazing.

Also, Noir by Blue Sky Black Death was the best album last year. Instrumental hip hop. Pure brilliance. So ya. LISTEN TO IT.

I'll warn you with Space Is Only Noise: on first listens, the vocal sample of the first song may be the most annoying thing you can imagine. First time I heard it I really wanted to throw things at the cd player and put on a nice and comfortable album instead. And considering that it reappeared on the last track, I wanted to forgot that I ever bought the cd. Now I love the album and think that vocal sample is pretty funny, though I sometimes start directly from track 2

The attention seeking puts me off. Goblin was a decent album though. Domo Genesis' album with The Alchemist is one of my favourites of 2012 - he's come on leaps and bounds as a rapper and artist. Can't wait to hear Earl's album, he's a very naturally talented rapper and he seems to have chilled out a lot. Hodgy Beats is a decent rapper too, with a great ear for a beat. Also, Frank Ocean was around before Odd Future and they kind of got lumped together as artists and ran with it. Despite what they say, I don't consider him an Odd Future member really.

A modern day Wu-Tang is high praise indeed though. None of them are even half as good as at least five members of Wu-Tang. Their production team (Tyler and Leftbrain mainly, I believe) is not the RZA. They are a decent, entertaining hip-hop collective with a couple of standout members, not too dissimilar from the A$AP Mob. I think they'll be overtaken artistically and commercially by the Black Hippy crew very soon. What annoys me about Odd Future is the blatant attempts to be controversial for the sake of it. Thankfully I think Earl and Domo are past that, and can see them both progressing nicely. Tyler and Hodgy need to grow up. It's often just peurile. As I said at the start, the attention seeking puts me off.

Also, in recent years there have just been plain better movements emerging in hip-hop. The return of dark New York minimalism (Roc Marciano, KA, $amhill, you could even argue Has-Lo were he actually from New York), the aforementioned Black Hippy crew, the Crown Nation crew. Not to mention the emergence of Action Bronson, Curren$y, Danny Brown, Quelle Chris, Freddie Gibbs, Big K.R.I.T., Jay Electronica (OK, not so new but still waiting on his debut) etcetera. I genuinely believe all of the above are more interesting artists than Odd Future, not to mention Blu who continues to release albums that cover broad spectrums and (as was the case with last year's NOYORK!) are genuinely progressive and challenging in a way nothing OFWGKTA has been. And the OF Tape vol. 2 was just plain boring. All that being said, I still think Earl's album will be wicked. I don't dislike them, I just think they've been hyped beyond belief.

Haven't heard those 3. But Tragedy is an album that I have, thats days away from being played. I loved her release this year, and I heard this album is even better.

And Goblin was GOOD. 😐 I was confused with the reviews for that. Yonkers, Sandwitches, She, Radicals, Fish & Bitch Suck Dick are all really good tracks.

Although it hasn't gotten much love at all on this site, I'd highly recommend Simple Math by Manchester Orchestra. I think all three of their albums are vastly underrated.

Björk has done better before, but if you're a fan you could find something to enjoy. RHCP's album isn't anything special, kinda watered down version of their previous albums with Frusciante. Parallax is a good one, if you liked Deerhunter, you should like it.

Skying and Zonoscope - if you liked their previous albums, you could well like these too. Both are derivative, but fun. Both with some really nice and catchy tracks.

Finally, Space is Only a Noise is an album that I see you liking the most. I have to listen to it myself again sometimes. I got a woman was my favourite song... Real good.

Of those two What's Going On?. But realistically it's probably closer to Otis than Marvin.

Ceremonials and Wasting Light were both great. I'm With You was good too but it's a step down from RHCP's other stuff. I haven't heard Metals or Biophilia yet but I heard Metals was okay. Biophilia I heard kind of sucked though.

Other albums: The new albums from Bush and Cake were surprisingly great! I couldn't believe those bands were good again! Really underrated stuff. I also recommend Grouplove - Never Trust a Happy Song, and AWOLNATION - Megalithic Symphony.
