Nech, you're going against two widely beloved albums, this isnt a case of "oh, people are biased towards old" it's just that it's got albums/singles that people really like, if they were obscure albums from 67 you'd probably be winning.

Yeah. I'm willing to accept that this paradigm goes both ways. I'm interested enough in this issue though that I am thinking about setting up a separate thread for discussion in the lounge. I'd like to hear a lot of different viewpoints. The tournament threads probably aren't the appropriate place for this discussion. I regret bringing it up here. 🫢 Anyways, I might set up a thread soon.

I think the bias towards older vs newer music goes both ways, as shown in the fact that the poll is relatively close.

Isn't it simply so that, on the whole, the Rolling Stoneians vote for the "vintage" year and the Pitchforkians vote for the more recent music?
