I'm not a fan of this album, there are better ones out there, but whatever. It's decent, I guess.

Also, TMR, Half Machine Lip Moves and Modern Dance are fun but Pop Tatari definitely isn't, and maybe Horses too, though Radio Ethiopia is.

First time ever I read someone write that Half Machine Lip Moves is fun. I've read brilliant, disquieting, clever, scary, all sorts of stuff, but fun... Next time I listen to it, I'll try to think about it that way. Should take quite a bit of drinking though.

I only know the singles, they're ok.

I find it hard to see how people could be offended by ABBA.

Ohhh Arrival...

I have loved this album since it came out in 1976 and never ever tire of listening to it even now!

I was bitterly disappointed when I first went to Stockholm and found that they didn't have an Abba Museum... it is a serious omission!

*sigh*

I wish my life was like an Abba song....'The Winner Takes it All' or 'Dancing Queen' would be nice

ABBA could of just been another forgettable european pop act.

Luckily for them, they had Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus, probbly one of the better pop songwriting duos. Because of this, thye were able to become one of the best, if not the best, pop groups of the 70's.

I never could stand Abba, and I honestly cannot understand today's fashion of rehabilitating them as "more than just a pop band". "Knowing Me, Knowing You" is acceptable, the rest I really can't listen to.
