Rush is a terrible band and Geddy Lee should have been told to not ingest helium before singing.

Had to go with Procol Harum on this one. Definitely want to see them make it this year since they probably won't make the next nominations. Rush will be nominated constantly until they get in, plus I can almost guarantee they'll make it this year (despite the HoF's hate for prog). Kraftwerk need to make it in as well.

N.W.A. - I dunno, they always seemed to justbe more influential than PE. PE could definitely be next year.
Kraftwerk - A must.
Deep Purple & Rush - The hall has done a terrible job with hard/prog rock. This would correct that a bit.
Donna Summer

although if they do seven inductees like last year, include PE and maybe Randy Newman.

I have a beef with most hall of fame inductions (hockey, baseball, basketball, rock and roll, etc...) that it gets watered down to the point that it's no longer a hall of greatness. (Hockey - Bernie Federko and Clarke Gilles? Basketball - Jamaal Wilkes and Ralph Sampson? Rock and Roll - Lovin' Spoonful and Donovan?) Not that the people inducted weren't important, but the hall should be reserved for game changers who defined their generation.

I vote Public Enemy and Albert King. Maybe Kraftwerk.

Yeah, the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame is shite. But I thought it was quite an interesting list of nominees. I was actually extremely surprised to realise Kraftwerk weren't already there.

Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame nominations for 2013 have been announced.

The five artists I'd most like to see inducted (in this order) are:

Kraftwerk
Albert King
Public Enemy
The Meters
Chic

Who would you most like to see inducted?
