I likje some old AC/DC, but I do NOT like the old lead singer's voice. Brian Thompson is a lot better.

In the case of Def Leppard, the music is good, but voice sucks.
Meat Loaf = his voice ruins every part for her.
Alice Cooper = I don't know whether it's the voice or the music.

I can't really understand why people would be annoyed at Elliot's voice. The backing vocals for Def leppard, I can understand. I can also understand why she doesn't like Alice Cooper's music. She finds it too strange. She HATES the song Years Ago.

I like both of these but I can EASILY see how someone could hate Joe Elliot's voice. It's quite whiney.

Used to have a big problem with Tom Verlaines vocals which i thought ruined the masterpiece Maquee Moon. But i learned to like it after a while.

I don't LOVE Alanis Morissette's music, but it' good for its genre. Voice is horrible, though. Ever hear "All I Really Want?" What's with the "ah-AHHH-a-AAH-a-AHHA-a-AAH." What is that?

I'll be honest with you I haven't listened to the album, but I skimmed through some of the itunes samples and they music had my style of music all over of it, but the vocals had some kind of heavily altered quality to it that I couldn't really enjoy. I'll probably give Dopethrone a full listen though just to give it a fair shot.

Any band that sounds like New Found Glory. I HATE that vocal style... sounds like some whinny 13 year old jacking off. I don't who started the idea that that vocal style is acceptable, but they should be shot.

Yellowcard, story of the year, taking back sunday, etc.
