I've got almost 30,000 mp3 files. This includes a fair amount of bootlegs which I was into collecting for a while. I can't fit them all on my iphone so I rotate based on what I'm currently listening to.

I have 19, 972 "songs" on my iPod classic. Not entirely accurate as a whole bunch of them are intros, blank tracks (thanks Coheed), and there a ton of songs doubled on live albums (over 100 versions of Master Of Puppets for example). I would estimate it's closer to 14, 000 unique songs.

That's horrible. I cringe at only the thought of such an unorganised library.

between Spotify and Grooveshark (both free), I can usually find everything. You'd be surprised at the obscure albums that these two share. Not sure about UK availability though...

My 8GB mp3 player holds around my top 100... so I guess 1000-1500 songs. My iTunes has just over 15K songs. Streaming is the key, y'all.
