Title track from good kid, m.A.A.d city and Ashtray Wasp are my favorites, but I've much 2012 listening to do (not too focused on following the years, I'll hopefully discover the good music one day). Should soon get around The Seer though

Also the worst is the opening track from Neil Young's new Psychedelic Pill album

Reading over some suggestions here.... yeah, I have to say Gun Has No Trigger by Dirty Projectors is pretty great. I'd also add Lightning Bolt by Jake Bugg for sure.

Still have more to listen to, but I think this list is decent (no big suprises, but that's okay) I think it's a testament to how good 2012 was for albums, that a lot of these songs seem to work best being a part of a whole rather than stand-alone tracks, but they're still great songs
