At some stage, we could add artists in for each track but that requires adding an additional field and there might be quite a few artists not in BEA's database that appear on compilation albums and we'd need some way of adding those to the database before they can appear in a track listing. I'm happy to do this at some stage, but it's quite a big change to implement (350,000 existing tracks to update). It's definitely something that could be added in 2013, once the decks have been cleared a bit. It's important for the "various artist" compilations (soundtracks, etc.) where very often are different performers.
