Oh boy many BEAers will not be happy hearing this. I thought it was decent but nothing special. A lot of people, especiallyaround here, think it was one of the greatest years ever. I suppose my somewhat narrow taste may be why I didn't think it was that incredible.

Several of my favorite albums of the year are not on here, but the Until the Quiet Comes stereotype actually fits me to a T: Grad students who like the idea of liking hip hop but don’t actually like any rappers.

I like hip hop, but there's not one rapper I idolize like I idolize a few other musicians.

I'm not old, but i'm pretty batshit crazy so that's kind of spot on, but this isn't my favorite album of the year, just closest to my favorite(because the two that are higher than it in my opinion aren't in this list).

I'm undecided between Shields and Blunderbuss. Blunderbuss is perfectly true and I don't give a fuck who knows it, and not quite sure I'm getting the Shields one.
