Best Album Openers is a playlist I just made recently. 20+ tracks of what I think are fantastic introductory tracks to albums.

Just created one just now. Songs That Are Somewhat Depressing but Danceable I thought it was something that I thought could be interesting.

There's one I just made for 1995 in music at Norm's:

http://open.spotify.com/user/iago75/playlist/49EyGNZ25uJCVeMRsvN68V

Best played at random mode, like every year playlist. Enjoy! Thoughts welcome.

Btw I have others (1995-2011 roughly) under that same account. Feel free.

EDIT: And then there are some wonderful playlists from other users on here, like Keep the Faith and This is for me, go away mom. I've also got a fairly small surf playlist

Desperately trying to think of a pun associating "when pigs fly, right?" and Pigs on the Wing by Pink Floyd and failing.

A couple of these tracks aren't found on Spotify so it's a 6-track YT playlist instead (of Irish synthpop / electropop 😨 )

I've made a couple of Spotify playlists in the last month and they will probably be expanded upon over time since I discovering new music. Here's the ones I have made so far:
Nostalgic Sounds! Rejoice!

When Melancholy Erupts...

I did make a playlist for a soundtrack compiled of songs [that I think are] appropriate for a teen drama, but I deleted it, regretfully.

Grooveshark has Led Zeppelin. Deezer has Pink Floyd and John Lennon. All of the Beatles, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin albums can be found in full on youtube (as in all songs played continuously on one video). You just have to move around a bit to listen to it all.

Here's a surf playlist. I've made it collaborative so members can add songs because, frankly, I don't know much about surf myself. http://open.spotify.com/user/124242124/playlist/4ZyBaJAuUlzEWtm2zF1uuv

I certainly do! I've never complted an entire album of any of those and I feel I'm missing out a bit. Has anyone outside the US used dezzer? I'm curious what its like. Ignore me if this is way too off topic

Can't really help you there. But I've made a couple more playlists. Here's my favourite so far:

I also wouldn't mind someone who feels like they know their Jazz, Big Band, Blues, etc. from the 1900s through 1950s to bridge that gap in music history through spotify playlists.

Anybody able to tackle this... up to almost 40 albums on my classical list.
