to be fair, I've read that the "2-3 more days" announcement was made by Shields at a concert; he was replying to someone asking "When's the new record out?" in the crowd. so I take it was a pretty casual remark and not something that was supposed to be all that accurate.

I'm just hoping it will be out within a month

A kid from uni actually saw them in Brixton last night, haven't talked to him about it yet though. Apparently he saw Thurston Moore there, or so he claims on facebook.

But yeah, obviously I'm excited, a little nervous that it's going to be shit but fingers crossed it won't be. Based on that one track there's a video of from last night it should be decent.

I don't think so myself. I have this strange feeling that somehow even if it isn't good, it'll get a good score because of the band releasing it. And that's not to say it won't be good.
