It's on the 'to do' list and will be added alongside everything else. I think I mentioned including a filter on the chart pages, or indicating compilation albums more clearly so people can skip over them if they want. I can't give people specific dates for making these types of changes, but as a rough guide, certainly within the next two or three months.

A filter could be added to all the charts where you can include/exclude compilations (or highlight them better within the lists), but it won't affect the actual rankings (this would be a safeguard as well for the situation where an album might be incorrectly labelled).

Why not just add an option to ignore compilations when customising overall charts? Great suggestion.

If people really believe that compilations are that much of a deterrent, then here's what you do, make it so that there is an option so you can get rid of compilations from whatever chart you want. It pleases both sides. For one side, you can now get rid of compilations from the charts without bothering us people who believe differently.
