Rajinder Khazanchi
Band position: Manager
Instruments: Didgeridoo, banjo, xylophone
Born: 3/14/1978
Born and raised in India, Rajinder was a prodigy in the business aspect of his life. He always had a knack to scam the neighborhood kids. When he started to grow older, he began to study further into the subject known as “entrepreneurship”. He began and was top of his class, always coming up with the shrewdest mottos, the craziest of ideas, and was the most successful at convincing people to purchase his product. With this, he eventually moved to America. In one interview he would later remark “Yeah, America, suckers as far as the eye can see. Oh, did I say suckers? I meant costumers, costumers as far as the eye can see *chuckle*”. With this, he moved up the food chain from school janitor to circus monkey and then onto the manager of a factory. Unfortunately, at this point, he felt his life wasn’t really going anywhere so he quit being factory manager and decided to follow his true aspirations.

What were they? In one interview he would claim that “I just wanted to play xylophone and banjo in a reggae band”. Unfortunately, his aspirations were crushed when he realized that no one needed him, so instead, he did the next best thing. He opened up a chain of thrift shops. One day, he met this particular fellow whose name was Stephen Wolff. He got along well with Stephen and even allowed him to operate one of his thrift shops. When Stephen joined “Plastic Lunchtime Flow” he invited Rajinder to manage them as he knew that Rajinder was one of the shrewdest entrepreneurs in town. Rajinder declined at first, but as he kept on hearing their name in the news and the slow build – up of success they have had, he knew he could be part of something amazing.

Side Note: Sorry the wait was so long! You guys can integrate the manager when you want though!

Looks like we are having a great time today 😄 Three new entries and great work to all of you!

Seems like we will have to speed up the release for the album. Doesn't look like a November release right now so I'll give them a record label and recording time closer to 'Please Please Me' than some contemporary albums.

I also had an idea for a new direction on the road map 😄 If you all like the sound of it we could work it into the rest of the year and first few months of the next.

Bascially it is the record company they are going to sign up to will screw them over. While a big label, they won't be anywhere the size of... say Sony or Warner Bros. They will snare them following the hype of the past months and the incident dividesbyzero wrote about. While letting them release singles and their first album they will be extremely fickle and tire of them ridiculously fast. They may underfund the albums tour, charge money for the instruments because they didn't make enough money, no effort to promote the album or no reason other than they were sooooo last month. Are you could take the high road and have them send hitmen to off them (even though we know they will all live) changing the record label into an airplane parts factory (and forcing the band to work for nothing) kidnapping the band, cloning them, dumping the originals on an island and leaving them to die while the clones release a second album devoid of passion and creativity (the true reason why some second albums are bad 😜 🤣 ). Or the escape from reality could simply be doing something so illegal there would be no way you get away with in real life, like selling all the rights to their songs so far to a massive celebrity which the band have to some how get back.

Which ever way we go about it, the plan in short is: sign to record company, release singles and first album, record label screws them around, trouble, leave between March 2014 - May 2014, release second album late 2014.

Tell me what you think of the idea. 😄 I'll point it in this direction with writing September 2013 now. If most dislike the idea then it can simply be veered away from by writing October 2013 - November 2013. Either way it would be nice to have the first album coming and I'll set it up so October 2013 has the privlage of naming the album (or perhaps you want to vote?)

If you have made a character, could you assign them a birthday? It's a minor detail yet means age isn't changed everytime we hit January again.

Christmas Davis can have 2nd October 😜

You can write an entire months entry without mentioning someones birthday. It's just a little detail and can be written into the events if it fits

While it would be impossible to make it into an official part of the game (finding all the people to record a full length album would very very difficult) anyone is encouraged to post their interpretation of a song they or someone else has wrote about. It's a game after all and would be quite fun to hear 😜 You're more than welcome to go ahead and record anything by yourself or with other users.

Happymeal wrote:

To some extent, yep. If let's say a tour were to go on, that would probably be more than one month, if let's say an argument breaks out during recording/some important benefit concert happened, then it'd be more of a day to a few days.

EDIT: Of course, these are just a few examples, I'm fairly sure there are many other things this can apply to.

I see what you're saying.

The things which last a day to a few days can easily be solved with a simple "One day" or "on [insert date]". You can either make it a huge part of the entry by just having one sentance along the lines of they practicsed, went to a gig, went to a studio and then write "During the month..." and use the other 95% -99% of the entry talking about said argument or a big story about the one day. For example the entry for July 2014 could be almost entirely about the events between 19th July - 20 July 2014. What happened on the 2nd July or 27th July could be handwaved with a line or not mentioned at all.

Regarding events longer than a month, with the current structure you will be leaving the rest of the tour for the person who comes after you. Then again, the tour was probably wrote about first by a person one or two months ago, that way it will be known two users will write about it beforehand.
