I don't think one is inherently better than the other. I enjoy complexity and simplicity in about equal proportion

I can't vote in this poll. I love Yes and I love early The Beatles, so it all depends on whether it can activate the correct chemical responses in my brain, and both simple and complex music can do that.

Doesn't matter as long as it's good. I listen to everything from something really simple and elementary as KISS, to the complex shredding of Jason Becker.

Personally, I don't care whether the music is simple or complex, the only important thing is whether it sounds right. For me, the tones and effects on instruments are more important than what is actually played played musically, as the sounds are part of the music of the artist, and you'll never hear a song that has one instrument played at a time.

Do you prefer music that is highly complex with many interchanging instruments and a lot of musical parts. Or are you more for bashing out 3 chords.

Personally I like my music more on the simple side. I find it to usually have more energy and I think it's more fun. That being said, it's nice to have a little variety in music too.
