This is good. Particularly for tournaments and such.

Oh, now I get it. I guess that could work out. So what people are suggesting is what if the user could decide if he wanted his vote to be anonymous or not?

Not necessarily, if you use a different IP address i.e one at work and one at home/school/friends house/smart phone etc etc.

JMan, I mean I'd like to see which user has voted for which poll option, as Frogger says.

And yeah, as Lawliet says, it would solve the problem of people using multiple accounts to vote.

Yes, but it doesn't show who voted for what, for instance, it doesn't show "Option X, voted for by Jman, Frogger, etc."

You do have that option. It's called "View Results." I've seen it plenty of times. I was able to view the results of a lot of pols before voting.

btw, if they made a second account, that account would get banned. Which leads to another question, should banned users votes be on the polls?

People can make multiple accounts and vote more than once.

If you wanted to stop that you could just ask people to announce their vote though.

Say I set up a poll with ten options. This feature I'm suggesting would allow me to give users the ability to vote a certain amount of times, but never for the same thing. I can select how many votes I want to allow each user (5 max). And that's how it works! What do you think?
