Remarkable album, fascinating artist, even if I don't quite follow her in every direction she ventures. This one though is a classic.

"bachelorette" is possibly her most darkly beautiful poetic work of art in her entire catalogue. the rest of the album's pretty good too.

I really love this album. Just missed being on my chart. Really beautiful stuff here. "Unravel" is surely one of the most beautiful songs ever written.

It's on my chart, so that says everything you need to know about my thoughts on it. Overall, I think Björk can be pretty hit or miss, but when she's good she's as good as almost any artist in the world, as this album proves.

Hurray! A rather underrated album on this site, I feel. It's incredibly consistent and quite haunting in places. "Alarm Call" is the only song that doesn't really fit here, but it's still a good song. I'm also not big on the closer, but the rest of the album is solid.
