I think, altogether Canada has better musicians, including 2 in the top 20 of the best bands in the BEA website (Arcade Fire and Neil Young)

However Australians have great musicians as well: Nick Cave is my favourite.

Yeah that's probably true. Or at least as an American a lot more Canadian music permeates into my market than Australian music.

I think Canada has some really great musicians (Neil Young, Arcade Fire), but Canada also has some really bad popular musicians (Nickelback, Anne Murray).

I voted Canada because the original question was which country has better music, and I think Canada, but Canada definitely has more bad music too.

I sure love my AC/DC, but there is a lot of really good Canadian music that is either not well known, or people think the bands are American. Plus the Tragically Hip are awesome.
