They do that on Dota2. Reported players are sent to a separate "low priority" server where they only play against other reported players. Needless to say it's so shitty people actively try to be nice just to avoid getting sent to that shithole.

Needless to say I'm scheduled to leave from there in a couple of years after my 5010239 reports for insults and abuse are cleared.

This often gets pitched as idea for dealing with toxic players in mmo's and the like, usually described as "prisoners island".

I have never seen it implemented though. The designers usually give reasons like.

"Well, in discussions we commonly refer to this as the Prisoner's Island idea--basically, all the negative toxic players get lumped together on their own island and get matchmade with each other.

there's a lot of potential discussion points that are just difficult to predict. For example, we know that toxic players tend to experience more toxicity because their teammates or opponents reciprocate their toxicity--that means on Prisoner's Island, the average game is going to be horrendously toxic to the point that the players might just quit (or create smurfs and wreck havoc on low level players)."

Same ideas on here more or less. Still I would be interested to see what it is actually like. I doubt it will be implemented here though.

Each regular user could "sponsor" one of the rejects and we could organize battles. Joj vs Naples, JMan vs Gary, etc.

I am starting to think there should be an alternate server where the banned users go. Everything album related would be shared between the two servers (charts, ratings, album and band listings) but everything social would not (forums, comments). This way when you start falling out of the crowd, you could find a place to run away to without losing your BEA charts and stuff privileges and the crowd would still benefit from your musical input while no longer being offended by your inappropriate postings.

I think I will report that post myself.

OK I am waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too bored now.
