I'm not a good singer. I used to have a kinda good voice when I was young, but now I stick to whistling.

Anyway, I'll check out more. Wanna know something funny? I recently saw another Triplejtv video this week. Alice Cooper was on.

Thanks, Frog-man!

Holly

P.S. My most favorite song to hear him cover is "Into The Mystic", but sadly you can't find him singing that anywhere at the You Tube website. 🙁 🙁 🙁

Without thinking too long, the Georgia Satellites covering "Don't pass me by" (Ringo's song on the white album) springs to mind, and Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds' versions of "I'm gonna kill that woman" (John Lee Hooker) and "Black Betty" (Leadbelly). Primal stuff.

Surfin' bird - Ramones
Boom Boom - The Animals
Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood - The Animals
Feeling Good - Muse
Piece Of My Heart - Janis Joplin
Johnny B Goode - Jimi Hendrix
Evil Woman - Black Sabbath
roll over Beethoven - Electric Light Orchestra

There's a lot more but it'd take ages going through them.

Tempo's a bit sped up, really gives the song a great kick. I actually prefer it to the original, but then again, I'm a die hard T&S fan (favourite band even).

Another awesome T&S cover (live though): Weezer's "Tired of Sex" off of Pinkerton, including Sara impersonating Rivers, glasses and all, and original Weez bassist/Rentals frontman Matt Sharp (he produced all of Sara's songs on their 2007 album The Con). Enjoy:

Hopefully the shitty quality doesn't kill the awesomeness for ya xD One other good cover they recorded was "When You Were Mine," originally by Prince.

Tegan and Sara covering Rebel Rebel!?

Well I know I could look the video up now but I prefer thinking about how it could possibly happen. It is a strange idea.

I prefer Lenny's original version of this one. If you haven't heard the 1988 live version (as released on the 1994 compilation Cohen Live) I would recommend to do so.

Respect has been mentioned before, but another cover I like is by Adeva from 1989 (Otis Redding, 1965)
