Fire of Love is one of the best albums ever, and probably my favourite rock record. yeah, it's that good.

I gave some Electrogazum (or whatever it's called) a listen but I have a huge hard on for Fire of Love at the moment so I had to vote Gun Club.

Wiki: "The Gun Club was a Californian punk blues band from Los Angeles, California that existed from 1979 to 1996. Led by flamboyant singer and guitarist Jeffrey Lee Pierce, The Gun Club merged the contemporary genre of punk rock with the more traditional genres of blues, rockabilly and country music."

Basically what wiki is trying to say there is Gun Club fucking kicked ass!!! Really were a miraculously good band and one of the greatest to come out of that post punk scene LA had in the early 80s. Oh and their debut album is a masterpiece. Here are some tracks from FIRE OF LOVE (1981) that I love (only could find live cuts on YouTube sadly. But these live versions are awesome too an show the ferocity of the band and the great showmanship of the legendary vocalist Jeffery Lee Pierce) ...

These guys started out the same way as the other two bands that were in the tourney - by being selected for the Paket Aranžman project. By mid-1980s they turned into a mainstream rock band, but until then they released a couple of good post-punk releases.
