If anyone doesn't know what the Disney Renaissance is, it's this:

People lost some interest in Disney after the death of Walter Elias himself. After that, the company produced less good movies. Another problem was that they had a major competitor in the 80's: one of my favorites, Don Bluth (Land Before Time, Secret of NIMH, American Tail, All Dogs Go to Heaven).
However, the release of The Little Mermaid was widely accepted, and thus began a new era for Disney. After the Little Mermaid came all of the ones I had previously mentioned. And thanks to these films, and a bad streak by Don Bluth until Anastasia, the interest in Walt Disney films was restored.

Also, where's that link to watching The Hunchback of Notre Dame that someone gave me?

I'm going to re-watch Mulan and Hercules and Little Mermaid hopefully soon. It sucks that Disney took all of their movies off of YT. All I get are things like "Lucario's Adventures in Sleeping Beauty" and Benny's Adventures in Beauty and the Beast." Who the hell is Benny?

Also, the Rescuers Down Under is a sequel to the original Rescuers movie. The first is all right, but the second one was filled with charm and had more humor and action. I don't see how the critics could like the first any more than the second. For anyone into Bob Newhart and Zhazha Gabor, I highly recommend TRDU. Great movie.
