I'd add Bat Out of Hell by Meat Loaf, but technically it wasn't his debut album.

I wouldn't count on it. Funeral may be ranked higher, but I don't think it gets quite the same universal praise on here that VU&N does.

Definitely a good idea, although we should obviously wait till the current 3 finish up.

On the topic of tournaments, I'm still hoping the idea of a tournament featuring lesser known albums comes to life sometime in the future(Albums only from outside the top 1000 for example, I have vague recollections of talking to someone about this somewhere...).

Also, tournaments should be shared between users if necessary, would definitely help finish them anyway, if users are willing.
