When I became a member of this site, I wanted to have fun and interesting discussions with the rest of the community. Even if I disagreed with someone, I still enjoyed participating in the discussions and got along well with other users. I had a great time here until this weekend. The endless shitstorms about JMan gave me thoughts about leaving this community. I think that we should talk about music more, as that is what this site is about. Not JMan. The Lounge forum should be about fun topics that we all can talk positively on and have interesting discussions instead of targeting a user for the entire forum. Let's end this shit already and talk about music again.

Well said, ppnw. Thanks for that! It is true that I tend to keep away from the politics thread. Honestly, I knew that whole conversation would happen. But no one should've posted about it. Can we all forgive and forget? Just because someone is against a certain something, it doesn't mean that someone can't be a nice guy.

EDIT: I'd also appreciate it if everyone stopped talking about science, unless it's been well known since the '90s or they provide sources, as in peer-reviewed articles. reading about it via news sources does not count; if you learned it in a class, please state that. I also suggest never communicating with JMan on the subject because it will only cause rage.

Hmm. I'm surprised you're coming to me, ptalyor. I would like to be able to post without people making a sarcastic remark involving something I take seriously, actuslly. And I would like to put this whole homosexual conversation out of the picture, and out of existence. I would just like everyone, myself included, to accept that we eat, watch, listen to, and sleep with who we want and for our own reasons.
