I think this thread might be the reason this album has had a resurgence on this site this year 😜 Great album!

From Spiritualized own website

"When Jason Pierce moved house recently, he discovered some lost recordings from this classic Spiritualized album. These recordings, giving a valuable insight into the artist’s work-in-progress in the form of demos, instrumental versions & sessions mixes, highlight an aim for perfection prior to recording the definitive version, and have been included in a new special, limited edition 3CD Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space box set, complete with the original album in the original and award winning pill pack style packaging"

It's similar to The Beach Boys' Pet Sounds Sessions, but easier to listen to because the separate versions of each track have been mixed together to sound like a whole track. It's a lot better than I expected, but they are one of my favourite bands of all time!

It's £4.97 to download from Amazon.co.uk

I own the CD version of Ladies & Gentlemen, and I like it - what does the triple deluxe augmented super extra 3cd version add ? Alternate takes ? Demos ? Unreleased material ?

Guys, just downloaded this triple album from Amazon, and it has completely blown my mind. I'm almost as orgasmic from hearing it as when I saw Brian Wilson perform Smile in London for the first time back in 2004! I managed to get it for £5 and think this was an error on Amazon's behalf because the CD version is currently £30 😄
