Catchy and fun band, my interest in music comes from my enjoyment of it, perhaps nothing new, but as Rubick would "how interesting".

Although Of Monster and Men come from this World-Conquering genre of INDIE-FOLK-POP I think their album is pretty awesome. I mean it´s enjoyable, and who cares if it´s not the most innovative thing out there. And the girl/boy singer duo sounds great

Apart from the great single "Little Talks".... "from finner" and ""King and Lionheart" are incredible tracks.

Nevertheless, I don´t know who was the idiot who mentioned them as the NEW Arcade Fire.. I mean, they´re Worlds apart in every aspect.

Really boring music. Another cash-in to the whole 'indie folk pop' scene that's so big at the moment.

I think what really annoys me is male-female duets. They almost always sound unbearably naff, like they're in love the whole time and I'm just the third-wheel witnessing the whole thing. An example of it done right is The xx - since both of them sound really bored, there's no unneeded chemistry being made.

Was introduced to them via a radio DJ when Little Talks was released as a single. He called them "the new Arcade Fire," to which I thought "what the fuck happened to the old Arcade Fire?" I actually did like the song though. All in all a good band. Oddly enough they at times have reminded me in some way of the New Pornographers. Maybe the only decent thing to come from the whole indie folk fad.
I'm not hearing the Mumford And Sons at all. Maybe the vocalist is throwing me off? Feels like island music rather than farm music. 🤣

Just another creation of the recent "pop indie folk" boom, they've never done anything I find vaguely interesting.

The first time I heard Little Talks I burst out in laughter. They just kind of feel like a mediocre indie folk band to me in the vein of Mumford And Sons. Never been too interested.

How do you feel about this lovely band. The more I am listening to their album the greater the joy I am finding 🫢 Oh my the treasures they throw down upon us are most gold and bountiful. Love is all around with their vocals and the video to Little Talks was one of my favorite in a long time.

Enjoy.
