Cold Spring Harbor might not be Joel's best work, but I don't like Kill 'Em All at all really.

I'm not trying to make a scene here or anything, I'm actually surprised that the BJ- album has gotten as many votes as it has (can only assume that many votes are "I don't like metal" rather than "that debut album by Billy Joel is so awesome" but anyway. And I'm not calling Jhereko a Pitchforkfag, or at least not a bigger one than many other users, I just remebered that he for example said that his favourite album of all time he didn't like at all on first listen and I think this album could potentially need the same chance. I know you don't like me and stuff but do you really have to interpret what I say in the worst way possible?

And why can't I have a little go at someone who I expressedly said several times I really like without you feeling the need to come to his rescue?

Cold Spring Harbor is easily Billy Joel's best album featuring my favourite male vocal performance of any singer ever. It 's pretty different from his later, more famous work, much more... intimate.

Oh sweet! Before we reopened nominations Kill 'Em All was set to go against The Doors. I was gonna have to vote against my own nomination! Anyway, I enjoyed this Billy Joel album quite a bit, but come on, Kill 'Em All is a thrash masterpiece. As raw and angry as Metallica ever were. Easy vote.
