I agree with whoever said that the 1997-2001 period was great. As for the other albums:

Pablo Honey: Some really enjoyable tracks but Thinking About You (the only acoustic track) is the wrong track in the right place and somewhere after Ripcord this album really loses my interest, so that even Blow Out can't save it. Just too formulaic overall, I guess.
The Bends: Stronger and more memorable songs in general, possibly due to the better production, but Pablo Honey haters tend to exaggerate the leap in quality from the previous album to this. The band's efforts to get away from the PH sound result in an album that loses some of that album's charming straightforwardness and essentially this whole album could be a bunch of OK Computer demos.
Hail to the Thief: Overlong though enjoyable. Really not much to say besides that; like The Bends this is just a transitional album.
In Rainbows: Boring at times but the last two tracks are brilliant.
King of Limbs: Out of all the Radiohead albums this feels the most incomplete. Morning Mr Magpie is a fairly weak track and Codex/Give Up the Ghost is not handled at all well. The rest would make a good EP though, and Separator is almost as great a closer as Videotape.

I'm finding the pre-OK material has not aged well at all for me. Kinda disappointing, cause I used to really like the Bends. 😕

I keep seeing Eraser on the lists on this current page of the thread, what's all that about? I know it's Thom Yorke, but I don't consider his solo work to be on the same level as the stuff Radiohead releases. Solo projects only count as an eighth of the original band's credit.

Well, if you're going by the studio albums, The King of Limbs is the only option. Unless, you go by live albums, compilations and EPs (which I haven't heard yet honestly) then that is different

It took me a few tries. Then again, up to that point, I had not really listened to anything released post-Lennon assassination (I was born in 1987 btw.). But little by little, I got into them. Airbag was the first song I liked. The Bends was the first full album I remember digging. Eventually, I got into everything, and now I've seen them twelve times in concert in seven different states.

I had problems albums after kid A. I couldn't catch the idea of the music. When I came to BEA I was surprised that those albums were ranked very high here. After listening more, I finally understood their musical concept.( still my favourite is OK Computer)

Let's get off that subject and back to what we were talking about. Let me go over the Radiohead albums I've heard:
OKC: I've already commented on this recently and will not comment again.
In Rainbows: Must hear again. From what I can remember, it's a good secon to OKC.
Pablo Honey: Grunge is a better genre for me than alternative, but of all the good songs it only had one hit: Creep.
The Bends: The first half was a fun half and the tunes are great, but the last half dropped a little. Still, it's good but nowhere near top 100 albums.
kid A: The first time I heard it, I thought it was horrible. I recently listened to it and it got bumped up about 100 places on my chart. It's still the worst of the Radiohead albums, but not bad for dance/house fans.
