How about, instead of linking to the forum, you can post an entire review on a page that's linked to the album's page, a link specifically for reviews. I think RYM does this.

The addresses would go: http://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?r=144
Just like "a" is for album, and "c" is for chart, "r" would be for "review" and the album number would be for the corresponding album. "a=144" on this site is "Led Zeppelin IV," on a side note.

Sounds an interesting idea. I'm not sure if you are aware, but there is a way of linking to any BEA page at the moment from the forums. When you are composing a forum post, there's an option in the toolbar labelled 'Insert BEA link' which allows you to pick any album, band or track page to link to (which inserts BBCode into the forum post).

To then list those posts which contain a certain album from each album page sounds a good idea, but for some items that could lead to a lot of posts being listed e.g. Radiohead, The Beatles, and the most interesting post might not be listed first. Another idea might be to add some kind of search link which allows you to search the forums for the album title that you are currently viewing (which could achieve a similar thing).

If you're looking at an album's page, it would be awesome if somewhere on the page there were links to mentions of the album in the forums. If it had appeared as an album of the day or an entrant into a tournament, you could read the whole thread, or if it's mentioned in the "what album are you listening to right now" or "best albums of 2013" threads, you could just go right to it.

How I see it working is, when you post to a forum, you have an option to link it to an album's page, and it would bring up the search function like it does when you are editing your chart.
