Boston (on their self titled debut) created some of the best vocal and instrumental harmonies I've heard to date. I think they do harmonies just as good as King's x (who I feel are masters at this). Honestly, I could listen to the singles all day long off that album. They've proven to be some of the best sounding songs I've heard. Madcap Laughs is ok, but is no where nearly as good as Boston.

I'm not sure. Syd had stronger albums.. but the Madcap Laughs is still excellent. Boston is also a good contender, despite how 'uncool' it is..

Will think a bit longer.

Madcap is my absolute favorite Syd album, but I love Boston's first album so much.

I'm at a loss. Should I listen to a full Boston album before I vote, as honesty would have me do, or should I just vote for The Madcap laughs, which I love, knowing that no Boston song will ever compare with just 10 seconds of Barrett - and thus undergo the wrath of every justified legalist in the game?
