With their usual weaponry the answer is obviously Dirty Harry but as all prefabricated weapons have been removed I too will have to go with John McCain. He'll bore all the others to death.

I'm not even entirely sure Bruce could out-stealth John McClane. John was able to lower himself enough to go running around in air ducts, I doubt Batman would take that route.

As a matter of fact, the more I think about it, the more I'm leaning towards McClain. He really only has two weakness: Flying and Alcoholism. I can't imagine that even if they ARE in a old west ghost town that there's any stock left, so he's probably going to be dry the entire time. He might be the most indestructible man in the entire group. He has zero reliance on modern tech. It's hard to kill him quickly, not only because of resiliency, but because he's such an asshole you're compelled to tell him off when you should be killing him. So many people had him dead to rights but just couldn't resist having the last laugh, I think both Bonds, Indy, Kirk, and for SURE Harry would fall into that trap.

One of the best candidates to shut McClane down would have actually been the omitted fellow cop Max Rockatansky.

I'd figure his suit would be heat-resistant. If it's bulletproof, fireproof and all that, why not heat resistant? Plus, Batman's the only one who knows martial arts and was trained in the way of the ninja. I guess stealth wouldn't help in the desert, unless he could inconspicuously cover himself in sand someway. All the rest are just good at basic fist fighting and coming up with badass one-liners. And Al's not getting my vote as long as he has that freaky lookin'avatar.

Besides, it's not the middle of a desert. It's a wild west town that's been abandoned, where Batman has plenty of places to ide in all those deserted saloons and emptied banks.
