Everybody else seems to have pretty solid opinions favoring one or the other, but I had trouble deciding. FF has some really catchy tunes while SILY has something really interesting happening, like if the Stylistics merged with Yes and then got Frank Zappa to write and produce them. I could see myself singing along to the Ferdinand songs, but I could see myself listening to the Avalanches more and more. I can't imagine buying the Franz Ferdinand album, but I might be willing to buy Since I Left You.

Vote to the Falling Snowy Ones.

Since I Left You is OK, I quite like it. I've never really "got" it to be honest. Franz Ferdinand is a lot of fun, I love it. They'll be killed by The Avalanches (anticipating the pun) for sure, though.

LOVED Franz Ferdinand ... 6 ish years ago when I found it. I was young and inexperienced. but I remember LOVING it.

Not familiar with Since I Left You. Will have to listen to both.

Take Me Out is a spectacular single and the album is pretty decent too, but, doesn't even come close to Since I Left You.
