I don't understand ...Warm Jets. I just don't, past the odd good enough song. Antony's debut is not his best, but I feel closer somehow.

Good music beats good singing, but incredible singing beats great music. I think Antony Hegarty might have the most beautiful male voice I've ever heard, and Eno doesn't need my vote.

I actually prefer Here Come The Warm Jets over most of Eno's work, if only slightly, and think this should continue to put up a fight in future rounds. Maybe just because the lyrics are so crazy, and Fripp's guitar playing is ridiculous.

Warm Jets is far from my favourite Eno album, even if we only take into account his more conventional pop records (I prefer AGW, Taking Tiger Mountain and Before & After Science by quite a distance), but it's still an enjoyable record. That said, I don't particularly like Antony's debut, especially when it veers dangerously close to overblown, sub-Sparks musical theatre and overwrought, sub-Elton balladry. So it's Here Come The Warm Jets for me in this round, but it's a shame that either should go through in place of some of the albums that have been cruelly knocked out already.

I'm annoyed Antony survived round 1.

I would be happy if Eno's debut won this whole tournament.

I feel Here Come the Warm Jets is so thoroughly better than Antony's debut, it's unfair.
