Just throwing my voice in for Bowie. The debated artists I currently have on the following spots:

David Bowie - #8
The Who - #31
Black Sabbath - #57
Pink Floyd - #58
Beck - not on list

Personally I'd take Beck over Sabbath and Bowie over The Who anyday.

I just though that it was interesting you having David Bowie ranked higher than The Who and Pink Floyd. Also you have Beck on your list but no Black Sabbath. Still I must say this is a very good list.

I know on the site they have a band ranking system and thought I would look at my collection and see (with studio, live and soundtracks) which artists rank the highest.

Please note: I am a huge nerd when rating music. I rate each song (iTunes) and then rate the album out of 5. eg 12 tracks on an album, 11 are rated 5 stars and 1 is 4 stars. Therefore the score is 4.9166

2. Doves = 4.83 (4 albums)
3. Muse = 4.79 (6 albums)
4. Coldplay = 4.72 (4 albums)
5. Radiohead = 4.66 (7 albums)

Not surprised at Elbow and Doves as I love those albums. The Cure being lower is a shock to even me but a few albums miss the mark. David Bowie is also low because of the amount of albums he has and some I dont listen to much.
