I enjoyed it a lot. It was a lot different from the first movie (I'm still trying to pin down exactly how, but it felt a lot different), but I found myself laughing almost as hard. I won't be quoting it as much, but that's just because it wasn't that type of humor.

That being said, I think Brick's performance in this one blew his performance in the first out of the water, and Kristen Wiig was just perfect 🤣

I thought it was pretty good probably a 7/10. I feel it ran for a bit too long though, I started to get a bit unsettled around the lighthouse section. 3/4 the way through to the end things start to get ridiculous real quickly. I also feel brick got a bit too much screen time, he can be funny but it does get a bit boring after a while.

I hadn't seen those, so thanks. There were some they did specifically for a UK audience which were pretty funny too. Yeah I'm pretty hyped for it, people who think Anchorman is too low brow are the worst.

So I'll just kick off my little countdown to the true Reason for the Season: Anchorman 2! It's less than 3 weeks away, and I have to say the marketing team for this film has done a hell of a job so far.

I had my initial doubts about doing a sequel in the first place, given that Anchorman 1 was riiight up on that borderline of being in that Napoleon Dynamite/Austin Powers area of oversaturation. However, they've taken great lengths to make some interesting ways of hyping the film. If you missed any of the Burgundy Dodge commercials, they are pretty classic. He's a couple of them.

Also, Ferrell apparently is so into promotion that he's willing to randomly do an entire 30 minute news broadcast AS Ron Burgundy somewhere in the middle of North Dakota.

This is actually 30 minutes, minus commercials, of a straight-faced, tongue barely in cheek Ron Burgundy doing the job he was born to do daily. Enjoy.
