This is pretty excellent. American Songwriter is one of my favorite publications. Ill have to check Out that number 1.

If this boils down to strict songwriting, then I have few complaints. This is a very solid list.

I am just happy to see a list with Jason Isbell on it. His was my favorite album of the year, no question.

Also happy to see Sarah Jarosz get some love.
