I wonder if I'm not liking Velvet Underground because I feel like I'm supposed to. I had a similar reaction to Forrest Gump when everybody told me it was the best movie ever made. When Forrest Gump was just pretty good, I was badly disappointed.

Maybe it's a rebellious streak that won't let me like it, maybe I don't like the subject matter, maybe I'm just disappointed (each time I hear it) that there isn't more Nico, who sings on the three tracks on the record I enjoy.

By contrast, I enjoyed CotCK from beginning to end. Vote to King Crimson.

I Talk to the Wind is pretty dope...Epitaph used to have a greater effect on me than it currently does. Same could probably be said of the whole album, unfortunately. Actually I think it may have been longer since I've listened to King Crimson than since I've listened to the Velvet Underground. Maybe I'm not so sure in my answer as I thought, but it isn't as if The Velvet Underground needs my vote. XD

I'm sure both albums will grow on me, but I theorize since I've only given "Court" one listen and liked it more than the first time I heard TVU&N, I'm thinking I'll like "Court" more. I don't know. I abstain for now and I'll give both a relisten tomorrow.
