Frank Sinatra had a great voice but Beefheart revolutionized music (in spirit, anyhow).

considering that Jose Gonzalez and Bon Iver are both gonna go to a second round, it pains me to know that one of these two won't. Sinatra was one of the greatest singers ever. He could simply sing anything well. But Beef could do it on his own. Despite the existence of Troutmaskreplica, I do love a lot more B.Fart than Sinatra. I think Safe As Milk is monumental. The Spotlight Kid and Doc at the Radar Station and Clear Spot are also excellent.

I've never actually tried Sinatra before. Trying now... it's... okay. Somewhat reminding of, like, an old romantic film or something.

But a tad boring. Going with Beefheart.

The more I've read about the history of American music, the more I've grown to dislike Sinatra. His music's okay, but I'm definitely going with Beefheart.
