Me too :/ It's weird to see him pop up occasionally in threads like this. I mean, yeah, there were times he was off, but I think he was a good guy at heart, for sure.

Oh, sorry I'm late - do you have a date planned yet? You should find some shit to do with her that'd be fun. Picnic in the park, food sample binge, thrift shopping... it usually pays to know your city in this kinda of situation. Because I live in a different city this makes it a lil tough to give advice, but my first date with the girl I'm seeing now went as followed:

Took her to this hip little joint called Snakes 'N' Lattes, which is an all-night cafe/pub that has a near-infinite selection of board games to play while you drink.
We show up and *gasp* it's packed! Oh no! I pretend to be surprised but I knew it would be, part of my plan for the night - so we put our names on the list and they tell us they'll call us, and we go to the near by Menchie's to eat all their samples and make fun of the staff, then we hit up the Wine Rack next door for a free wine tasting. Eventually they call us to tell us that our table is ready, so we go in, get some drinks, play some board games, have a laugh.
End of the night I take her to a greasy dive to get some poutine and we make out.

Nah, like I said, I'm moving past my past. Totally different girl, just some girl at school who happened to be interested in me who's pretty and sweet and funny and has just about everything going for her I've been looking for, I just didn't know her that well till recently. She's single and has been for a while, and isn't into drama (which is why we waited till after prom, someone else had asked her and she just didn't want to deal with that), so she's got that going for her, too.
