When I was younger and first got into Demon Days by Gorillaz I wanted a new album by them as soon as possible. However being a lazy lot they kept me waiting for a long time. So I used to find tracks to be the 'new Gorillaz' single in my mind. I would listen to them and imagine music videos and what the band members would do in them. Two such tracks were Climbing Up The Walls and Electioneering from Ok Computer. Had them on repeat a lot in 2005 and 2006 as a result. I think the Gorillaz video for Electioneering was in a rainy construction site at night.

There is an album that is so scary, I can't even listen to the whole thing without being horrified. And, for the sake of my BEA friends, I will not post any of the songs on the album.

Just listened to this, and it's the only album I have ever found truly emotionally disturbing - the closest thing to scary that music has ever done. Also, one of the best of 2011.

It's not an album I'd ever call "scary", but Massive Attack's Mezzanine has an eerie atmosphere that can definitely make chills run down your spine, specifically the title track:
