I have no idea how this song doesn't ruin the flow of Don't Shoot Me, but it somehow fits.

Still an awful song though.

'Slave Girl' by Goo Goo Dolls off the album A Boy Named Goo. It was the last song on that splendid album. I don't know what they were thinking; 'Eyes Wide Open' or 'Disconnected' would've been fine closing tunes. But 'Slave Girl' is terrible. Without that song, A Boy Named Goo would much higher on my chart.

I'd say it's my fourth favourite from ICLIH behind Lullaby, Words, and Lazy. Wow. It's amazing.

Anyway, only dislike numerous songs on 69 Love Songs by The Magnetic Fields, but as swedenman said I like all the songs on albums in my charts, in context. The album would be too different without the pits, they help bring out the essential moments, I guess. Same with intermissions and such.

To be honest I'm of the opinion it is one of the worse covers of that song I've heard. However, I still like it, no one can mess up "you are my sunshine".
But I don't think it messes up the flow, it is kind of an epilogue.

I have my itunes set to skip the second half and it's much more tolerable, very good actually. The second half makes the song as a whole a bad experience though.
