At last, my hangover has almost gone and I can almost think straight! God knows what it will be like here on Sunday should Spain win, the place has gone crazy.

All Spain's games so far have not had many goals. I think Holland can cause Spain some problems, they have good technical players. I'm not sure who the referee is going to be on Sunday, but it could make a big difference to the game.

Too tight to call at the moment, a lot also depends on whether del Bosque decides whether to keep Torres out of the team or not. Need to wait for some more team news before predicting anything.

I'm not expecting many goals in this one. Thomas Mueller is suspended (4 goals so far) and that will definitely help Spain. I think it will be a very tight game and that will suit Spain.

Germany may slow down but coming off the wins they have produced them slowing down would equate to a 1 or 2 nil win, They would have to try pretty hard to lose this!

The BBC says here that the goal scorer Valdez was onside but that Cardoza was offside. Cardoza never touched the ball. I guess he is offside because he tried to touch the ball. On TSN during the broadcast they said that because Cardoza didn't touch the ball that the goal should count. I really don't care.

I watched the whole match and Paraguay's goal that was disallowed early was on-side. Also, Spain encroached in the penalty area when Paraguay took their penalty kick but there was no call for a retry. Heh, I got nothing against Spain but the facts is the facts. 😄

haha.. good luck on that one outlaw.. they could conceivably beat the dutch, but i can't seem them winning.. but i cast my mind back to greece at euro 2004..

if the dutch win against uruguay tomorrow i'm off to amsterdam to watch the final with my dutch mates! nothing like a bit of glory supporting!

Spain controlled the ball 70% of the time against Paraguay but they rarely moved forward. Mainly a bunch of pretty boys who are more interested in their long shiny hair than scoring, except for David Villa. Paraguay beat them but got robbed.

The awesome thing about Germany's dismembering of Argentina was that they actually walked the ball right into the net .... twice! It was the equivalent of ramming it right down their throats. Nothing timid or soft about them.
