Also Drake was just announced to play at the festival I go to every year, which means that I shall be seeing live this summer; I'll consider making and bringing a "Drake, murder my penis" flag

A friend of mine said, and I quote "He's not bad. He could use some more background, though. He's a rapper. Not a producer. He should find a buddy to work with. For an indie rapper, he's the best I've heard. He's better than some big name guys. You should see if he has been looking at any producers to help him out". The kid wants to get into production or music education so I jokingly asked if he wanted to produce you and he said "Well yeah, but I don't have any gear so that isnt happening. I would like him to find one though. He could start to rise if he finds a good one". So yeah, my little friendgroup likes you, at the least.

Personally I read a certain vulnerability in Gambino's misogyny, like his misogyny has been thrust upon him; he comes off as a boy grappling with his sexuality and when he raps about how he feels towards the women in his life it feels like he's handing me a brutal slice of his heart, an animal nature he isn't necessarily proud of.

OK, so since you went on hiatus since I got here, we've never talked. As a result, you should know that my taste in rap is really pretty particular. I like about half of Gambino's stuff, Madvilliany, Rawhyde, and the occasional single that gets pointed out to me, but really, most hip hop does NOTHING for me.

And I love this.

I really, really love this.

I'm listening to it for like the 5th time right now and I've been sending it around to friends. Not only does this one work for me with the actual flow, though, for a change I kind of love the message here. That's one of my biggest problems with Gambino, some of his stuff is pretty misogynistic, frankly. I take it as a joke cuz it usualyl is, but there are times where it's just uncomfortable. You make a lot of really good points here and while the flow isn't perfect, I still really like it. Seriously, this is wonderful. I look forward to hearing other stuff from you! (Once I can find more ...)

Also weird sidenote, you don't happen to have lyrics to this written down anywhere do you? I can't find them in actual text form and for whatever reason I'd be interested to be able to read it without the music.

Your flow's not bad. Not great, could use a little work, 's a little shaky, but alright. You were spittin' some pretty tight rhymes, that whole verse on Drake especially made me lol. I hear some Das Racist in this, some Childish Gambino, Milo, Tyler, that whole "revenge of the nerds" rap scene - take from that what you will.
