What is wrong with BEA?

Yeah, I agree with the look of RYM, but BEA in its early days was a turn off. Much better look and feel today.

RYM's overall chart is better though. Mainly because the BEA overall chart has too much indie crap that will be forgotten by five years.

In regards to BEA vs RYM:

BEA's overall chart is IMO better for someone who's just getting into music (most of the albums that appear on the overall chart will be classics who were both a critical and commercial success - on RYM some of them are way down the order, because they are by artists and bands who are polarizing).

On the other hand RYM's is better for those who are looking for more obscure stuff, as those albums will sometimes be very high on the charts, despite being relatively unknown. Another example, I helped myself a lot with RYM when trying to find out more about the music of ex-yugoslavia. Whereas on BEA, I'm the one adding these albums in the database! Of course, in this case, this is the result of BEA being a younger, and a smaller website.

The look of the site, and, for the most part, the forums, are better on BEA. And when the custom charts come, I will have very little more to ask for from BEA.

IDK what kind of a mongoloid you would have to be to use RYM. Like everyone said that site looks like dogshit. I can barley read the forums everything just bleeds together.
