Really damn good, but I honestly don't see how it's even close to being as good as Elephant.

I used to feel this way, and then one day I listened to them both and suddenly I didn't care for this one and I really liked Elephant. It's difficult to say why, exactly.

It's incredible and so much more inspired and enrgizing than Elephant (though I do need to hear it again). 16 perfect little rock gems that work together so well.

This shit is raw! This shit rocks your knockers off!!!! This album is the bees fuckin knees man! Its amazing! The white stripes were one of the coolest and best rock bands ever. None of their albums were less than great. The energy of this album,WBC, is more consistent than Elephant or even De Stijl ( which is my favorite)... The highs aren't as high as those records though. Anyway, the opener is just classic and so is Fell In Love With A Girl... And This Protector. Love the guitar playing of Mr. White. He is probably my all time fave guitarist.

Anywho... This is a solid 8.8/10 album.

If you dig Jack White's guitar style I recommend checking out the raw blues greatness of Hound Dog Taylor and the garage blues mastery of Gun Club.

Good night!!!!!

Meg may not be the most technical drummer, but she definitely gets the job done here.

I don't know whether I prefer this to Elephant or not, but I'm gonna say I do because yeah. Anyway, their first four albums are all pretty dope. Went rapidly downhill after Elephant, but yeah I fuck with anything up until that point. They aren't amazing or anything, but they're a fun rock band.
