Hearts On Fire is my jam, the soulful vocal snippets in the chorus and how they're deployed are particularly memorable to me.
Strangers In The Wind makes me cry.
All in all, this album makes a gallant effort at blending synthpop and pop-rock together into a sweet new wave concoction. For me, I prefer the tracks that are more synth based rather than guitar based. This is an album I'd be more inclined to peruse a few tracks from rather than listen to it all in one sitting.
Having said that, Cut Copy (especially early Cut Copy) have a certain sound with those filtered guitars that to me is reminiscent of French House. I find them rather comforting, as it reminds me of my early childhood for some reason. _________________ Top 100 Greatest Music Albums

I enjoyed it when I listened to is some odd years ago, but I have never felt the need to relisten.

In the same way I don't really love Usher but when he comes on at a dance or party I can dig it, I don't really love Cut Copy but when they come on at a dance or party held by one of my hip indie-kid friends I can likewise dig it

Yeah, I feel the same. A great record from what I remember but I literally never feel compelled to put it on. _________________
