Phenomenal record. One of the crowning jewel bands of latin american psych rock take a sharp left turn, kicking and screaming into folk rock. And it's all over the place, pastoral folk breaks out into blues jams which give way to these thick swirling sound collages made up of snippets of some UK psych rock. At times I prefer the predecessor over this, (Pescado 2 may be a double album but it comes from enough alien approaches to my ear that I'm never thrown off by it right from the jump with the slurrrrrred beat boxing intro) but I really suggest you give Pescado Rabioso a try if you haven't. Also, the BEA format betrays this album cover, it doesn't show how oddly packaged this thing is.
