Forgot that Gerard Way of MCR wrote Umbrella Academy. If he's in any way involved in the soundtrack selection for the Netflix adaptation, they've done a great job picking songs from a variety of eras.

Never got super into MCR, Black Parade is decent and every once in a while I do enjoy rocking out to the title track

In my opinion, The Black Parade is My Chemical Romance's best albums (Although Three Cheers come close)

Can basically take or leave the show (entertaining fraff, essentially), but the They Might Be Giants drop was inspired.

Entertaining fraff for sure, agreed on the TMBG scene. I was also a fan of the Bay City Rollers song during the bowling alley scene. I've found myself going to the show's spotify playlist more than I thought I would
