Groundbreaking wouldn’t quite begin to describe the impact made by this record, but it’s entirely accurate.
That said, as a whole album listen, Straight Outta Compton just doesn’t hold up. Hip-hop would graduate a handful of times in just a few short years. But this undeniably laid some different blueprints down. _________________ Attention all planets of the solar federation: We have assumed control.
