I never did talk about how I came to discover new country singer John Foster. Because of my mom's love for American Idol, I caught his performance of "The Rainbow Connection" on May 12th, and I have not been the same since. I've been watching the clips of him at You Tube and everything out of his mouth couldn't be better. His singing, his smile, and his songwriting had better not be swept up underneath the rug. Right here is the song that he did on the Easter Sunday show, and he wrote it about a friend of his who was tragically killed in a car accident on December 31, 2022. This song, to me, should be the next CMA Song of the Year. The first thing said during the chorus is one heck of a lyric, "Sure, the sun will come up, but it won't shine on her skin."
Go here for a picture of me with Mark Miller who is the lead singer of the legendary band named Sawyer Brown in Newport, TN on the night of June 6, 2025. The reason why I look so horrified is because of what happened before this unexpected blessing took place: A Thunderstorm. I never left, but neither did he and the other band members or the opening band who may be a story for another message.
