I have a question. How do people here generally feel about people making custom charts of favorite or theme-specific album covers?
Obviously they wouldn't affect album rankings, so... do people think they're a waste of time? Or that they're distracting, when they see something like that on the list of charts an album is included in? 🤔
If it turns out that people enjoy that sort of thing, I'll probably make some myself. Maybe a lot of them, who knows... Charts like "Album covers featuring partially-submerged heads" or "Album covers featuring moths or butterflies" could easily go into hundreds of entries.

I've SEEN some shit, man!....
I've seen, in the past, OVERALL charts that consisted of album covers that were all one color. Before we had custom charts. But still...
Custom charts are anything goes. The number you can have is apparently unlimited, so let that freaky flag of yours FLY, my brother! _________________ I'm leaning on the threshold

The Concert For Bangladesh (1971) by George Harrison & Friends
A perfect album cover and it's not just "good" it was for good so a win win.
No stars, and there were many on this live album, no concert still on the cover, a starving Bangladeshi child. Said what the album was about and the cause for which it was recorded. It tells the story in one photo.
NB - The cover of the 2005 remaster was a picture of Harrison. WHY!!!!!!!!!! If he had still be alive I don't think that it would have happened. Had our sensibilities changed so much since 1971 that they thought that the original cover might offend our delicate sensibilities? Bo***cks to that (see what I did there). Music and album covers, when necessary, should be challenging and sometimes, the best can make up a little uneasy. Good
